IntroductionDA doesn't give you a space to give yourself an introduction or some general remarks, so this journal entry, linked to my signature, will do.
I'm a young male, currently studying at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). Who knows right now what kind of degree I'm going to get though. I'm originally from Pasadena (in the L.A. area). I enjoy a lot of academics and creative endeavors, I'm not popular or outgoing...not very exciting, at least superficially. There's not much else to say.
I use my DA gallery to upload my artwork (like everyone else), which includes a variety of stuff - drawing, writing, maybe photos and photomanipulations when I get the hang of my camera. I try a variety of things, though I do well with pen and ink and like black and white. I'm rather perfectionist, so I don't upload nearly most of what I do. Some of it I put in "Scraps," and there's nearly as much stuff there as in my proper deviation gallery, so you should check there as well.
One of my passions is music, and I want to start a project doing, for lack of a better word, "Death Folk" [link] . I'm interested in mixing elements of more traditional (folk, classical) music and metal. Sound interesting? My poems on DA might be thought of as potential song lyrics. I'm also interested in foreign languages and linguistics, and one of the other things I do is conlanging, or designing fictional languages (CONstructed LANGuage). My own Çomyopregi [link] language is the source of my pseudonym, which means "Dark Lord".
